Hi there! Since publishing my novella, I’ve been working on building up my online presence, filling in the gaps I left as I focused on my writing. One of those gaps has been coming up with a good opener for my blog posts and profile, which by extension meant coming up with a way to address the people who find and enjoy my work. After some thought, I’ve settled on “Starling”! So you’re Starlings now, if you like. And no, this isn’t just because I recently read Jocelyn Samara D.’s Rain and thought “Rain Beau” was the most clever “fan name” I’d ever heard—but I’d be lying if I said it wasn’t an influence.
